Women group Mission Statement

The Mission of Woman 2 Woman, Tea Time Conversations is to empower women at various stages of their lives to achieve significant professional and personal growth through relationships formed with various community partners.

Woman 2 Woman is a support group sponsored by Parents Anonymous. Each woman attends to share challenges ranging from family conflict to developing communication skills. These sessions are encouraged by each woman taking one step at a time, achieving personal and professional goals.

According to one member of the group “this is a safe haven and my favorite part of the group is what is said here stays here.” The group provided a safe place to discuss everyday concerns without judgement. Each woman has developed better relationships, conflict resolution, and problem solving skills and develops self-esteem and improved self-image through a joint effort.

The Logistics:

The Support group meets twice a month, every 1st and 3rd Monday.

The group meets for 2 hours on Mondays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Weequahic Family Success Center located at 1065 Bergen Street Newark New Jersey, 07112.

No fees will be charged and anonymity is enforced. Each woman participates in the support group for as long as they wish. Participants will refer to each other by first name only.

All topics of discussions are kept confidential.

Election of Leader, Parent leaders, and committee chair shall be yearly (September)
